Meeting with the site coordinator, the major, the APS and data team on issues affecting retention. Root causes for the poor retention were addressed which are IIT and TO. The coordo asked to know how retention is calculated given that they are trying to bring back patients yet there are still at are poor retention. it was well explained. A follow up action plan was established to followed up on daily basis with fidelity.
Tracking of older patients was done especially those with numbers not passing. it was recommended that the aps retention do a systematic update of patient's numbers and localization plans at each visit. aps took the initiative to do active home visits for patients who keep giving false appointments. the meeting started at 10:30am and 1:45pm. next session was taken for Wednesday 23rd August 2023 and the major was to follow up with the APS to make sure all recommendations taken are being implemented.
before the meeting started at 10am, we worked with the aps with their tracking tool and tracked the 2 and 3 months absents. i was able to get to 7 patients, amongst which 3 are out of town, 2 still have medication, 1 promise to come on monday and 1 number was not going through.
