Description

Retention/support group/Adolescent club and DSD

  • Day 1
    - Started with a pretest
    - Debriefing of participants on the retention/support group/Adolescent club.
    -Exchange, questions and answers from the participants.
  • Day 2
    - Debriefing on DSD models and the types adapted for pediatrics.
    - Practical session on drugs using the various protocols allocated for kids, the prescription by weight, and the optimized protocol for pediatrics and support groups.
    - Took part in the adolescent support group which took place today, did a role-play, and make some observations and recommendations as to how to make the sessions more interesting.
    - Dr Olivia requested that the support group sessions should be made problem specific as in high viral load clients support group, children, and adolescent groups.
